Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin is a very interesting character. In this movie, Modern Times, Charlies character saterizes life and the turn of the century in many different ways. He was very hard working and never wanted to slow down or miss one object. He would work so hard all day and never receive one break. His job remained the same through the whole day and whenever he would try to sneak away he would be told to go back. Showing its a mindless industry and would get twitches from being so concentrated. He began to go crazy, he wanted to tighten everything and anything he saw. He went through the machine just to catch a screw and then when he was pulled out he began to attempt screwing peoples noses and buttons.
